Ed Jelf and Pennie Mearl (Marietta Bigham)
Ed and Marietta have been working together as tribute artist doing Minnie Pearl impersonations
since approximately 2008. Ed plays guitar and sings, Penny does an impersonation
of Minnie Pearl. Their show lasts approximately 20-30 minutes depending
on the particular venue.
They have performed at venues nationwide such as the bluegrass festivals with bluegrass singers such as Rhonda Vincent, Chris Talley and Bull Harmon, also on the bluegrass festival lineup in Collinsville, IL . as well as the Sally Mountain Bluegrass festival in Missouri.
Ed and Penny have opened shows for the "A Matter Of Time Band" for 1-2 years
where they have performed with great success for impersonator Steve Davis (Elvis) and Steve Brandes (Elvis).
they have also performed on Labor Day at Wilson park, Granite City,IL
Ed and Penny perform at Residential Homes and have performed for The Salvation Army and at benefits, picnics and church socials in and around St. Louis,. MO. as well as surrounding cities & states.
